Personally I would avoid the TB drives as they tend to be of Chinese manufacture and, although not all, tend to be of poor quality with even poorer instructions. I would look at the Gecko G540 instead, no breakout board needed with it as it is already connected to the drives.

Ultimately, they both can achieve a desired result. The main question is whether you need vertical or "z" dimensional control. As George mentions, the Mill can achieve better results.
